Amy Idzik

ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR

"Word of mouth “buzz” can make or break a brand in today’s market. The key to buzz marketing on the web, in the media or in events is to realize that you’re out there, engaging and exchanging ideas with your target. It takes confidence and creativity, but most of all it takes commitment.”

With a marketing sensibility shaped by travel, politics, music, entertainment, sports and media, Amy Idzik is not a conventional marketing person. She combines an intuitive sense for how products and services fit with the practical knowledge of how people now look at and use brands.

Amy joined SCC in June 2007, after recharging on a four week trip across Africa. Before this epic sojourn, she worked on the affiliate sales and marketing team at MTV Networks where she developed and implemented integrated campaigns for the flagship network and its subordinate brands.

Prior to MTV, Amy planned and implemented highly acclaimed buzz campaigns for RadioShack at Six Degrees, Inc., a Chicago-based word-of-mouth marketing agency. Her team launched iGo Power Adapters, XMODS RC cars, the Vex Robotics Design System and JAMDAT Mobile Games.

Amy is currently serving as Account Supervisor at SCC. She focuses on managing the day-to-day activities on several accounts, including Redbox and Bayliner Boats. In this role, Amy fulfills a variety of client needs from print, web, social media and public relations to assisting with brand building and brand strategy.

Amy is a self-confessed "foodie” with over 150 cookbooks, a tri-athlete and a hearty traveler. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree in American studies and spent a semester in London.
